Love-Designs have received a few requests for customs so I thought it about time to put up section on customs and how we're going to go about them. First of all, we are free custom makers. We don't charge, we don't demand anything in return. All we ask is for some patience in getting the customs completed and that you don't remove the link from the layout. Here are the requirements:
- You must request which designer you would like to make a custom for
- We have the right to postpone or refuse customs if we so desire
- You must have at least a plan in mind on what you want. Describe whether you want a movie/music template, depressing, cartoon,etc. Having an image ready and a full description makes our job a lot easier
- If you do not know how you want your navigation/entry set up take a look at our templates to get an idea or give us the link of a layout which you like
- Be patient. We have lives outside the computer and things planned, especially school. Some weeks we may not even have time to make layouts for the site so please bear with us.
- Use the template for a minimum of 7 days at least. If you're a template addict that changes every few days, please don't request a custom. If we take time out of our busy schedule to give you a unique look for you blog AT LEAST respect that.
- We only do customs for Diaryland at the time being because we are not familiar with the codes on other sites. If you would like to provide us with knowledge on those, we'd like to go ahead with the custom
- We will contact you by email or IM on the first draft of your layout. If you do not like it or want to change something then is the time to tell us. You have 3 days after the completion of your custom (when we give it to you to use) to ask to change someting on your template THAT YOU CANNOT FIX YOURSELF! After that, you're on your own to alter.
